Worth knowing

That "$99 whole-house special" is a bait ad - the real number appears once they are in your hallway, or the "clean" is a shop-vac at the register. We photograph the inside of your ducts before and after instead.

Air Duct Cleaning Before & After in San Antonio, TX

Most San Antonio homeowners never see inside their own ductwork. That’s the problem. You can feel the dust settling back on the furniture two days after you wipe it down, but you can’t see the half-inch of caked debris lining the return. This page exists because the work we do is visual proof. The photos below show what we found, the equipment we used, and what the ducts looked like when we finished. No guesses. No vague promises. Just the inside of actual San Antonio duct systems.

Whole-Home Air Duct Cleaning in Alamo Heights

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Return duct before and after: Rotobrush agitation with Nikro negative-pressure extraction. Alamo Heights, San Antonio.

The homeowner called because every return register had a gray dust shadow around it. When we pulled the return grate, the duct walls were lined with a quarter-inch of packed lint and fine construction dust from a 2016 remodel. We ran the Rotobrush through every return and supply run, with the Nikro HEPA unit maintaining negative pressure the entire time. That means the loosened debris went straight into the vacuum, not back into the living room. The after photo shows bare galvanized metal. The homeowner’s daughter has asthma, and her mother told us the morning coughing fits stopped within a week.

HVAC Cleaning for a 2,100-Square-Foot Two-Story in Stone Oak

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Blower wheel before and after HVAC cleaning. Stone Oak, San Antonio.

This job started as a routine duct cleaning quote. Once we inspected the air handler, the blower wheel fins were so packed with dirt the system was working against itself. The homeowner said the upstairs never cooled below 78 even with the AC running all day. We pulled the blower housing, cleaned every fin, and vacuumed the evaporator coil with the Nikro. The result: the system moved air noticeably harder at every register. The homeowner’s July electric bill dropped 11 percent the following month.

Dryer Vent Cleaning in a 1980s Two-Story in Castle Hills

BeforeBeforeAfterAfter
Dryer vent before and after: a 14-foot vertical run packed with lint, cleared with rotary brush and HEPA extraction. Castle Hills, San Antonio.

The dryer was taking two full cycles to dry a single load of towels. This house had a 14-foot vertical vent run from the first-floor laundry to the roof, and the entire run was packed tight with years of accumulated lint. That’s a fire hazard, and I told the homeowner plainly. We used a rotary brush to break the compaction loose and the Nikro to pull it all out from the exterior vent. The after photo shows daylight through the pipe. Dry time for a heavy towel load dropped to 45 minutes.

Air Duct Cleaning in a 1963 Ranch-Style Home in Terrell Hills

Technician connecting a flexible dryer vent hose to a wall duct
Supply duct before and after: decades of drywall dust and pet hair removed. Terrell Hills, San Antonio.

This one sticks with me. The ductwork was original to the house, meaning it had been accumulating dust through six decades of San Antonio humidity cycles. The supply runs had a white coating of old drywall dust and embedded golden retriever hair matted against the duct walls. We set up Abatement Technologies containment around each register opening so no dust could escape into the rooms during the process. The after photo shows duct walls we cleaned back to the bare metal. The owner told us she could finally dust her dark wood furniture without seeing it haze over by the weekend.

HVAC and Duct Cleaning After a Kitchen Remodel in Boerne

Technician using a drill brush to clean a home dryer vent.
Return plenum before and after: renovation debris removed from the entire duct system. Boerne, Texas.

A contractor had run the AC during a full kitchen remodel without sealing the return vents. The result was a return plenum with a half-inch of sawdust and drywall powder resting in the bottom. The homeowner’s two-year-old was sneezing constantly. We cleaned the full system: plenum, trunk lines, every supply branch, and the coil. The before photo shows what we found; the after photo shows the same plenum wiped clean. The sneezing stopped and the system stopped making that soft grumble when it started up.

Dryer Vent Cleaning for a Condo in The Dominion

Technician using a rotary brush to perform professional dryer vent cleaning
Dryer vent before and after: a short but fully blocked horizontal run, cleared in under an hour. The Dominion, San Antonio.

Even a short vent run clogs. This condo had a horizontal run of only about six feet, but the terminal flap outside was stuck shut with lint paste. That meant every cycle was pumping moisture and lint back into the laundry closet. We cleaned the run, replaced the flap assembly, and documented the whole thing with before and after photos. The dryer now vents properly, and the laundry closet stays cool while the dryer runs. Total time on site: 52 minutes.
